WHAT IS ROOTING
Rooting is the process of overcoming access to various Android Subsystems on Smartphones, tablets and other devices using Android Operating System. As we know android uses Linux Kernel therefore rooting an Android device gives access Administrative permissions as on Linux or any other unix like operating system (e.g. FreeBSD or OS X). It is also compared to jailbreaks as in Apple iOS devices. It is performed with a goal to overcome limitations that are set by hardware manufacturers in the device. Complete replacement of device’s Operating system can be done by rooting the device.
ADVANTAGES OF ROOTING
There are enormous possibilities for your android device you can do with rooting. By rooting you can completely change the looks of your android device

ROOTING TECHNIQUES
Every phone has different ways of rooting some are simple and others are complex. Some manufacturers tried to make unrootable devices but they failed as they can rootable somehow. You can root your device by
· Connecting it to the PC and installing apps like Root genius, Mobogenie and Boot loader which gives you one click root to your device
· With help of Android Debug Bridge and command prompt or
· You can root your devices directly by copying the su Binary to the PATH (e.g. /system/xbin) Location and grant root permission to your device.
DISADVANTAGES OF ROOTING
Every good thing comes with some issues or we can say drawbacks. Rooting your device has some disadvantages like.
- Installing Custom ROMs make your Smartphone looks pretty but doing a wrong step can totally brick your phone which is no use then.
- Malware and virus are more prone to attack your device.
- Warranty of phone is broken if rooted.
- Sometimes screen fluctuation may occur due to improper rooting.
- Unstable device functioning.
CAN WE UNROOT AFTER ROOTING?
Yes we can unroot our device after rooting just using application which gives you one click unroot option to the users. In some counties like Australia, Canada, European Union, India, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Singapore rooting is legal but in others like United States it may or may not be so do it at your own risk.
